Recommend me a fancy vegan cookbook please!

So bored of the same tofu fried with various vegetables, soups and risottos.

Can anyone recommend a really amazing vegan cookbook full of wanky ingredients that require a trip to Waitrose and a payday loan? Bonus points for recipes that take about 4 days to make and use up every utensil in the kitchen.

Bosh do lots of great vegan recipe books.

The Ottonlenghi ones aren’t strictly vegan but most of the recipes are by default
Great if you want to spend a weekend visiting every shop in a five mile radius looking for ingredients

I agree with ottolenghi. The veggie recipes are usually fairly easy to make vegan. His site is good for recipes too.

I’ve got Ching He Huang’s new book which is plant based. It is probably simpler than you’re ideally looking for but everything I’ve made has been delicious and I’ve had a trip to a Chinese supermarket.

Street vegan by Adam Sobel fits the bill, despite the name. It asks for evaporated cane juice in one recipe. Took me a while to realise that was sugar Grin

On a serious note, Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall's 'Much more veg' is brilliant. I must admit I find BOSH a bit low-rent/simplistic - they don't feel like actual cooks, whereas HFW definitely is.
