Nhs references

Hi can I have some on nhs references as I’m getting so stressed!!
I have my interview next week so maybe thinking too far in advance.

I understand they want 2 references with 3 years employment history.
So my current employer is fine and it has been 2 years 8months. (Almost 3) so annoying but my employer before this ended on bad terms and would in no way want to use them as a reference it would probably ruin my chances if I got the job. Can I use an older employer ? On the application form I put down current employer and the older one I want to use.

Can anyone advise if they have been in this position?

They will seek them anyway from the other employer, they say they will seek references from who they see fit, so you have no choice unfortunately. This is what my Trust does

No its strictly past 3 years.
They will wonder why you have left one out.
Mostly its just dates etc now anyway .
Very few employers give bad references, they dont take the risk.

In the reference request would they state if I was dismissed and why or anything ? It was such a Rubbish job and they treat me badly and this led to me not turning up and dismissed. I’m so worried 😔

Usually its just someone in HR confirming you were in the role you said you were and for the dates you said you were, it's rarely anything beyond that for a previous job. I would put it on as withholding info is considered worse, but put a generic HR email address in rather than your previous line manager who may have moved on by now anyway. I'm sure it'll be fine :)

Unlikely but even if they do mention it , recruitment would discuss with you.
