Gosh, these are alarming looking creatures, one of which I saw on a TV cooking programme the other day. I would put a photo on here but someone would report it as obscene. They look like a large penis. I don't know what they taste like and don't think I could deal with it in a kitchen. Have a Google.

Eurgh no , I had a look on a YouTube video.

Who would look at this creature and think Oh that looks delicious, I'll cut it out of its shell , boil it , chill it , skin it and eat it

He he he, indeed.
But apparently, they taste amazing. I think you'd have to close your eyes and just indulge Grin

I first heard of these on Emmymade on YouTube geoduck - fascinating and quite alarming looking!!

I think they're eaten in China and Far East. Bound to have a reputation as natural viagra so I expect that sells it. But. Nooooo. No sushi for me thanks.

Yes, I have. They're very popular in Vancouver, chopped and fried... & taste good.
I can appreciate the negative sentiment though.

Ouch!! I cant watch that video past the kettle of boiling water. Nooo too anthropomorphic.

Ha! I'm imagining Gordon Ramsay feeling intimidated by one of these. Out-competed at last.
