C section "extras"

Bit of a random question. I had my 2nd planned c section in 2013. At the time the surgeon person said they were going to cut off the thick keloid scar from my 1st section - which they did (and sewed me together wonky which was weird). I think he also said something about scraping out the inside of my uterus a bit too. Is this a thing or did I dream it?

Since then I have had periods for only 48 hours. Then over the following 5 days I have random little extra bits of period once or twice. So it does feel like a lot of that bit I would have had a period from has been taken away.

I'm not sure if I'm going mad though. Has anyone else had this done? Luckily I didn't want any more children - I'm not sure what impact that would have. It wasn't offered to me as an option, just told they were doing it. I am partially deaf though and was stressed out so I'm not sure if I misunderstood.

Any ideas? Thank you.

My periods are definitely lighter and less painful after my section. I also had less lochia than with my first natural birth.

I just presumed they gave me a ‘good clear out’.
