Tranexamic Acid - Reset period after misscarriage??? I have Irregular Periods Usually!!

Hi can anyone explain this to me lol. I have searched the web high and low and can find no evidence to suggest this is correct.

I had a misscarriage in March 2021 - I already have a lg who is a year old. I previously before having her was told I had pco ( irregular periods) so after my misscarriage I have been passing what looks like old blood for a good few weeks, so Dr has suggested trying Tranexamic Acid tablets as it will reset my period hopefully. However on my searching online of this drug I found that it is for help of heavy bleeding. I am not bleeding heavy.

Anyone any experience of using these drugs? I have not taken them yet.

Thanks
