Next Directory Returns

I’ve never normally had problem with Next Directory returns, within the last month I’ve had over £100 worth of returns not credited back to my account.
All the paperwork was done correctly and sticker on parcel. Luckily I kept the Hermes receipt.

When I rang Next they dealt with it promptly, but did say that they could see I’d returned the items but I hadn’t been credited for them! I don’t know if they’re having system problems or I was just unlucky.

Just keep an eye on your account would be my advice.

I've never had any issues, it's why I use Next. I've had about £250 go through of returns this month all fine - school uniform and shoes that didn't bloody fit.

I took 5 items back the other day, im due £43.50 back. I've had £12.00 back into my bank, the cashier in store when I returned them said I might get some of it back on a gift card in the post because some was paid for by gift card? Seems a bit weird but I'm holding onto the email saying £43.50!

I've been using next for years and never had an issue, up until the last month. 2 separate returns not collected, items down as delivered that haven't arrived. I've rung next each time and it's been dealt with straight away, but it's the first time in years I've ever had issues.

Their easy returns system is why I use them so much! Thanks for the tip, hopefully this was a one of quirk and you won't have this experience again.

harkness same with me..... I’ve had an account since the mid 80’s and it’s always absolutely fine. It’s just been this last month that I’ve had problems.

Hothammock I hope so too, they’re usually so reliable that I don’t always bother to check I’ve been credited !

I had an issue with them in January, where I returned something and the money wasn’t credited back. I let them and the credit card company know, then I ended up with it refunded twice. My advice is keep hold of any returns emails/receipts at the moment as their refunds seem to be having an issue.
