Legoland Hotel - worth it?

SuperPixie247 · 07/05/2021 12:05

We aren't planning on booking a summer holiday this year so was going to do a few days out. I fancied Legoland but it is just over £400 for 1 night!

I would pay it if it was worth it but I don't know anyone who has been. Can anyone on here comment please?

Thanks!

Sorry, no, and legoland itself is just OK.

If you have a lego fan I think stay somewhere local and visit over two days maybe? Stay in Windsor, or save to go somewhere else with nicer accmd and theme park.

Thanks for replying. Staying local but not the Legoland hotel is a good middle ground.

We stayed at Willow Court Farm, it is just a short drive from Lego land. Really lovely place and close to restaurants, my children enjoyed feeding the animals and picking fresh eggs. I would highly recommend.

There is a bar and play area in the hotel with entertainment for the young ones. I’m not a bar person and would generally rather stay in the park with an ice cream -it’s open fairly late in the summer, and then stay somewhere functional, though that farm sounds nice!

We always stayed at the Village in Farnborough
It has a pool which we'd use in the evening
Short drive to Lego land
Current offers are rooms from £30pn and 50% off food during your stay

Yes stay at the hotel! The rooms are so fun for kids and themed, you are right on site and can dip and out throughout the day. I think you might have early access to the park? Also there is a little pool in the hotel that the kids will love. It is just so fun and convenient for the kids and makes the trip more special.

If you’re only going for one night I’d say not worth it. You don’t really get the chance to pop back into the room because check in is something like 4pm and you have to be out by 10 the next morning. The swim session was nice at the end of a lot of walking round the park but I’d stay at a travel lodge and save the money for the fast pass thing.

My two went to legoland with their dad and stayed on the hotel - the bit they still go on about is the hotel!

Check first how covid has effected it
We went last year
Park was amazing however hotel was not
No Lego to play with in the whole hotel (covid risk)
No themed covers as and I quote from management 'because we can't wash them'
After dinner there was nothing to do and we ended up taking DS out for bowling
We payed £300 for one night
And I'd never of done that if I'd of known we weren't getting what we paid for
We will actually be back this year as we have free tickets due to complaining but won't be staying in the hotel
