I need it done under local anaesthetic at the dental hospital on Monday. I'm really scared. How bad will it be? (Can't have General or Sedation because I have no one who could be with me afterwards).

On way to hospital now. I honestly feel sick with nerves.

I had mine taken out at the dentist under local anaesthetic. It was fine honestly, just felt like a huge relief that it wasn't in my mouth anymore! I was bracing myself for it to hurt so was quite pleasantly surprised!

Hope it goes okay for you OP!

I hope it goes smoothly too.Smile

All done. Went well. Took about 30 minutes I could feel pressure and hear cracking but no pain. It was honestly much less than I had built it up to be in my head.

@Themadcatparade I hope that helps reassure you. Flowers
