Possibly a long shot, but I’ve recently moved to this area and wondering if there are any lovely Mumsnetters who would be willing to give me some tips on how to get to know the area? I have a 13mo little girl and keen to find some mum and toddler groups, plus nice places to walk with and without dogs, decent shops, pubs, restaurants and anything else you can think of that might be useful to know! I have recently set up a Facebook account (deactivated my old one a few years ago due to massive overuse 🥴) and have joined a few local groups on there but it would be so handy to have a bit of a beginners guide.
