It appears everyone else, especially on MN, has a holiday booked or planned for this year.

Am I the only one who has no holiday booked or planned?

Feeling very down about it Sad

None booked, if we go it would be a very last minute thing (= probably far to expensive anyway!)

Having said that, I have a "left over" holiday from 2020... I did re book for August this year but got clod feet in March and moved it to 2022... and even that seems to be a 50/50 thing at the moment.

Nothing planned, although we have booked 2 weeks off in the summer holiday. Probably do some day trips. Might book a last minute camping trip. Or even camp in the field attached to the in laws. The kids love this as we have done it before.

We have a caravan which don’t get me wrong is lovely but as we live half the week or more here it’s not really a holiday

A week In a 2 bed caravan in rockley park starts at £2k mid July 😱
A ridiculous amount of money
5 years ago just More than double that paid for 6 adults and 4 kids to have a week in a 4 star hotel in Tenerife , half board, flights and transfers included in mid September
Beautiful swimming pool, entertainment every night for families and children and as much sunshine as we could soak up

Yes Greek island at the end of August and all being well we will go. We are lucky in that we will be fully vaccinated and able to work from home if we need to isolate on return, and our travel insurance and travel company terms have given us the comfort we need if we have to change.

I can't think of anything less appealing than going on holiday in the middle of a global pandemic Envy (not envy)

Nothing booked but hoping to go somewhere in the UK for a few days (city break). We’ve got two weeks booked off at the end of June/start of July and DH has two weeks in October, but I work in a university so might not be able to take those weeks anyway.

Nope. My work is looking unlikely to reopen until at least September so we're about 40% of household income down since last March. However, now we know we can actually 'manage' on lower income, all my earnings will be going into a savings account once I start up again and we're going to keep living fairly low frills day to day so we can afford nicer or longer holidays once we can travel again.
