Naming a dog. Does she look like a .... or an ..... or neither?

Friend has got a new dog and is struggling to fix on a name. She's a 7 month old Highland Maltie ( Westie Maltese cross) and is very pretty, loving and feisty. She's a real livewire!
I have suggested two names... Mabel (because he got her in May and the second half of Mabel sounds like belle ie. beautiful) or
Sylvie because this means 'from the forest' and I think she looks like a little woodland creature.
Foxy has been ruled out because although she looks a little like an Arctic Fox my friend wants a name that clearly denotes her sex.

What do we think of these names? Or can any one suggest anything else? I promise to let you know what he chooses in the end
