Best sleepover ever

Any tips for the best sleepover for a 9 year old (girl but not girlie iykwim) would be hugely appreciated.

It's her birthday. I've booked a teepee company to come and dress the room and set up, but anything else that's worked well?

I was thinking of a chocolate fountain too but the hire ones are crazy expensive and for 50+. Anyone have advice or experience with the at home ones?

Thanks so much for any ideas.

We did a photo shoot once for a birthday sleepover. We asked the girls to bring some outfits and hats and bought some props. We then used a white wall as a background and did the photos with our SLR. We planned some in the garden but the weather didn’t cooperate.

When the girls were in bed we downloaded them and put them on USB sticks. Two shots were then later printed and we gave them to the girls together with a simple frame.

We also looked up various mocktails and played bartender for them while they watched a movie and danced around.

Glow sticks - the packs with glasses and bunny ears etc in.

White pillow cases and fabric pens to decorate on pillow.

Films - lots of popcorn, sweets and chocolate!!

line up some film options that are age approriate and that everyone will be happy with - non scary etc as some kids can be more sensitive but not want to say in front of their friends.

P.S expect to get NO sleep!!

Thank you.

I like the photo shoot idea, we've only got phone cameras but they are pretty good usually.

We've got glow sticks too.

Any thoughts on which films?

Atm they all like zombies and descendants but they've seen them all so was wondering about something new?
