Anyone tried magnetic eyelashes?

I'm quite basic with my makeup and look the same every day. Very natural look.

I have been toying with the idea of semipermanent makeup and came across magnetic eyelashes - has anyone tried this? views? Considering possibly using it for my wedding this summer if it works for me

Ooh I've been wondering about this.

Assuming u are talking about the magnetic eyelashes with magnetic eyeliner? I have some and really like them. My ones have the black eyeliner (think you can now get ones with clear eyeliner?) so you need to be fairly good at applying eyeliner on your eyelids.
I wore them when I watched a film that made my cry and they didn't budge and I've also worn them when it's really windy outside and they stayed put then too. I did buy some different ones and the eyeliner wasn't as good, it would smudge and get messy.

I got magnetic eyelashes last year after being sucked in by the good reviews. Tbh they are a bit shit. I prefer a normal stick on pair.

They come too long so need trimmed which I found hard to do in a way that made them look natural. The eyeliner you use is quite heavy so they look weird if you're not wearing a lot of makeup.

Can't quite explain why I don't like them that much but I was disappointed. On another magnetic lashes thread on here there were a lot of posters who felt the same.

Interesting, thanks all. Maybe I'll have to give it a miss. I don't tend to wear thick eye-liner (have quite deep set eyes, so not much eyelid when my eyes are open - any eyeliner just looks like my entire eye is black (so i either tightline or dont bother with eyeliner). If magnetic lashes require a very thick eyeliner then it probably wouldnt work..

you can get ones which magnet to themselves, a top set and a bottom set that sandwich your eyelashes in the middle, so no need for eyeliner.

nooooo idea about the whys and wherefores though, but dd had a pair.

A lot of people say they're easy but I can't do them at all.
My daughter went back to the ordinary ones.

Am I misunderstanding...? Lol so top and bottom lashline sticking together with magnet? The eyes would be closed...
