The nursery said if I put DS down for a place and then he didn’t attend because of Covid, then they would still bill me for that place even if he wasn’t attending. I couldn’t afford to put myself in that situation financially. If I’m paying then he needs to be attending so I can work and earn money to pay the bill.
So I didn’t put him down for a place because I couldn’t take that risk of having to pay when he couldn’t attend. But now everything is opening up and he has no nursery place. So he’s still stuck at home with me, with no friends and no kids to play with, and I’m unable to work. The nursery can’t accommodate him till September. I’m just totally miserable about the whole situation. I want him in nursery and I want to be able to work 😭
