Does anyone have any knowledge on long term weather?

Just that, I know it’s probably too early to tell but I’m planning an outdoor celebration for DSM significant birthday (post may 17) in a few weeks and we were planning everything to happen in her garden but weather has and is looking rubbish (we’re in SE). Anyone have a weather Crystal ball they can look into to reassure me ? 😉 It’s normally lovely at that time of year but it’s still so cold and miserable I’m not feeling so confident!

I'm sure it's going to be gorgeous!! (Or you could try accuweather which gives a long term forecast, although weather is so mad these days, it must be harder to predict).

Mind is blown. I just searched for cities in south eat England and it suggested Southampton and Portsmouth Shock Are they really south east?
My weather app is saying on 18th May Brighton will be 15 degrees, sunny with clouds ~40 mins sun per hour, with a 15% chance of 0.1mm rain between 2-3pm. Wind around 20km/hr, gusting 35.

Thank you - doesn't exactly sound tropical! I've just looked at historical weather for last few years and weather has amazing that weekend. Urgghh, I hate this freezing weather but I'll try and remain optimistic.

@newlabelwriter

To early to tell. This weather is being driven by the jet stream being in an interesting place for this time of year.

By Friday you might have a better idea

I'd hire a marquee as a plan B unless the house can accommodate everyone in bad weather.

@Justa47 - Thank you - it's the greyest of the grey where I am this morning - anything would be an improvement!
