Has anyone been able to choose to be induced at 37/38 weeks?

I would like to know if anyone has been able to choose to be induced early on a first birth. I am having a very very difficult pregnancy and without having to go into details it’s led to me having to stop work early, several trips to triage and the whole experience has given me anxiety that I have never before had to deal with. The thought of having to go to 42 weeks possibly or even 40 another 10 weeks of feeling like this actually sends me into a panic attack, I’m terrified of going into labour naturally and something going wrong, I have been told I carry group B strep and this also terrifies me and I spend all day paranoid that my baby isn’t okay as i have an anterior placenta and even though I am 30 weeks I still don’t really feel her and can have days where she moves once or twice.
Has anyone got any helpful advice or shared experiences when they have successfully managed to talk to their consultant and be induced early ( I’m not terrified of being in labour just the thought of going into labour) or even at this point been allowed to elect a section on a first baby.
Thank you for any help I feel like I’m going insane
