Accidently pulled out coil... WWYD?

... whilst removing my moon cup. Well, I pulled, felt a dull pain so stopped, tried again and successfully removed my mooncup this time, but realised the strings were hanging a lot lower than they usually are and I could actually feel the coil. I've pulled it all the way out now but not sure if I should be seeing a Dr or maybe a nurse about it. The Internet seems to have plenty of stories about people who have successfully removed theirs themselves so maybe I should just leave it?

I have a bit of a dull ache but otherwise feel fine. WWYD? Is it worth a Drs appointment or see how i feel In a day or two?
Going to have to make an appointment at some point i guess to discuss alternative contraception

If you've had sex in the past week you'd need to consider emergency contraception. Otherwise see how you go and follow up with what you want for ongoing contraception

I took mine out and it was fine, generally when you have one removed all they do is pull the wires to get it out. So its unlikely (but not impossible) that you've done yourself any harm.

When I saw my GP, I told her mine had fallen out during sex, she wasn't in the least bit worried and I told her my DH put himself on the waiting list for the snip. We used condoms until that had happened and now I don't worry about contraception any more Grin
