Help! Please help - can’t move, back has gone.

What do I do? I’m 7 weeks pregnant, I’ve had really bad sickness and the last couple of days bad lower backache on one side. I’m sure it’s muscular. Vomited this morning and my back has just gone. Can’t move, can’t put weight on my leg on that side.

DH practically carried me to bed from the bathroom. Now I can’t even turn over in bed. The on call GP is going to ring me back in the next few hours.

I’m panicking because it’s so painful and I’m not sure there’s anything they can do for back pain.

Help - can someone help me calm down a bit.

I would not have thought you would be able to use a tens machine while pregnant. I used one in labour but I wouldnt have thought would be advised prior to labour.

Oh you poor thing. Try to find a pregnancy physio that perhaps has experience with people who have chronic pain, like ME. Reason I'm saying this is that I put my back out a lot when I had HG in pregnancy and my pregnancy physio was incredible but worked for a local ME trust. Her specialism meant she had really great techniques to help.
