My DS is a gannet and has taken to solids well since introducing them at 6 months. He is also still BF although a lot less since food came into play. However he's still has plenty as he still feeds at night too 🙈.
Question is what are your babes poops like in look/consistency? DS poops are like adult ones (sorry tmi) like a long brown sausage and they can take some passing! He has water/diluted juice throughout the day as well as milk and his diet is good. Also has prunes and pears regularly too.
But still left wondering if his poo should be a bit mushier. My first child if i remember rightly had quite mushy one's at this age.
