What boys names do you like?

The sonogropher at my 14 week scan indicaged that it may be a little boy and we're stuck for names.

If it was a girl she would be Verity. We like older, traditional names like Harvey and Toby (can't use those)

What names do you like? Smile

Both Harvey and Toby were on my list to but didn't get used. Harvey because of Weinstein and Toby because a cousin called her little boy Toby just before mine was born. Other names on our list were Ollie (Oliver), Rory and James.

In case it wasn't obvious, my list wasn't serious. I have no favourite boys names but some are so decrepit, cruel and naff they should be outlawed, e.g. David, Jack, Wilfred, Ernest.

I didn't realise that Harvey is an old traditional name. Anyways, I really like Jack, William, Charles. Harrison is a newer favourite of mine. Finley/Finlay.

And a weird fondness for Brennan, except it always makes me think of “kicking Bishop Brennan up the arse” of Father Ted fame, natch.

Childfree so will never have to name a kid but all of the above were considered previously when naming cats.

Darius, Magnus, and Asher.
I knew of someone who called her son Asher but didn’t factor in the surname of Price and all through his school years he was called Asda Price.
