I'm about to finalise the order but having a last minute crisis about the worktops. The kitchen isn't very big and I'm going with white gloss units to maximise space and available light and have been looking at Quartz / Silestone worktops in dark colours (Black or dark greys) but I'm hearing from the kitchen fitter, plumber and a couple of friends that they are a nightmare to keep clean and smart looking.
It's a busy house, 4 of us (2 who are always snacking - toast , cereal etc) and a big dog. If I go for a really dark worktop am I setting myself up for a big regret?
