What's been your most successful spontaneous gift? (19 year old, girl)

Evening
Any recommendations for surprise gifts that went down well would be appreciated. The chances of that happening for mine are limited but nonetheless I might strike lucky with a surprise gift based on your own experiences. Open to any ideas, preferably ones you have bought and seen wrt quality. As per title, they are n-n-n-n-nineteen (gulp!) and female.
Thanks in advance x Wine

Record player and vinyl, voucher for sports things, exercise/yoga pants, nail/ voucher, a driving lesson.

I've got four late teen / early twenty step daughters so hopefully that helps.

My daughter loved brunch & some money spent in the shops for her 19th. She is 20 soon.

Small, neat pair of proper gemstone earrings (places like gemporia are much cheaper than high st jewellers). Bought a simple classy pair of emerald earrings for a similar aged relative, and she wears them loads. Pick a colour that works with what she wears.

Thank you for the ideas so far - sadly, it needs to be something bought from a retailer in the EU/delivers to the EU without customs bullshittery. She would like to learn to drive at some point but not yet. She has a vinyl record player. Not very sporty but lives in jogging bottoms. Had her hair done a couple of weeks ago.
I love the emerald earrings idea but to be honest, not sure she would appreciate expensive jewellery as she wears different etsy earrings each day so would feel tense with anything easily lost.
I don't know. Maybe some crap off moonpig just as a gesture will do it but I like the not on the high street type stuff, just not sure about what as she will probably find my tastes cringey or twee. She doesn't really do twee or kitsch but I bought her a pink sprinkle donut cushion anyway Blush

Etsy or Not on The High Street voucher, do they do those?

Unusual jewellery box from there. They do those ones specific for earrings, ideal for when staying away overnight somewhere.

UV lamp for doing her own nails at home.

Lovely make up set, maybe an expensive brand she wouldn't buy herself normally.

If she has a record player already then some vinyls to play on said record player would be ideal I would have thought. That does depend on you knowing what records she already owns though and what she would like to own.

I forgot, mine also loved a silver ear cuff. She got hers from Marion Made jewellery, hand made in Fife and online then four of her friends all ordered silver earrings etc from there. That was a big success.
