Where is the accordion being played?

ItsSnowJokes · 02/05/2021 21:13

Anytime..............

MamaWeasel · 02/05/2021 21:15

Yes, I would say it stops at 9pm latest

RebelByLight · 02/05/2021 21:19

9 pm is too late to start, but a good time to stop!

MargaretThursday · 02/05/2021 21:27

Dh says playing between 1pm and 1:01pm is about a minute too long.

Waxonwaxoff0 · 02/05/2021 21:34

Just don't do it at all.

groundcontroltomontydon · 02/05/2021 21:41

Well obviously later than a flugelhorn but earlier than a bassoon so that's 19.50, but it's a bank holiday weekend so the Humperdinck variation applies ... so 20.15 unless the accordionist is wearing a loud shirt in which case it's 20.05

LolaSmiles · 02/05/2021 21:43

9pm is too late unless the player is in a detached house with no nearby neighbours.

alexdgr8 · 02/05/2021 21:44

of course it's too late, unless you live in a castle.

TheChosenTwo · 02/05/2021 21:55

Oh my god it’s my favourite sounding instrument even when played badly Grin
I’d be happy hearing it at 11pm if I was tipsy on wine strolling through the streets of Paris. Less so at home at 9:55 on a Sunday night in my quiet little area in Hampshire!

EL8888 · 02/05/2021 21:59

Anytime

HorseDentist · 02/05/2021 22:15

Are you our neighbors?

MLMsuperfan · 02/05/2021 22:16

You can learn a musical instrument at any age.

Elouera · 02/05/2021 22:18

I was going to say that my mum taught herself to play in her 60's, but now realise I read the heading for the post incorrectly!!! Grin

Hellocatshome · 02/05/2021 22:21

If you live in the middlenof nowhere with no neighbours or family members knock yourself out.otherwise about 7pm or better still if you live next door to me dont even start.

RudeAF · 02/05/2021 22:23

9am

nellly · 02/05/2021 22:27

9pm is
Too late, people put kids to bed earlier than that and frankly I wouldn't want to be disturbed watching a movie or reading if I lived next door, people who work really
Early shifts might go to bed at 9
Too

CMeredithC · 02/05/2021 22:29

I stop around 8:30/9pm - I'm a professional musician who practises at home most days. You have to give your neighbours some quiet time in the evening.

Middle of nowhere - knock yourself out.

MrsFezziwig · 02/05/2021 22:29

The twenty-first century?

Gingernaut · 02/05/2021 22:29

Think of it like building work.

Between about 09:00 and 17:00 weekdays and between 09:00 and 13:00 on Saturday.

If, like bagpipes, you could avoid playing it at all, that would be better.

Try driving out to somewhere deserted and practicing there.

Ps those are timings I have agreed with my neighbours, if I lived next to someone with a young baby who goes to bed at 7, or someone who starts work very early, then they might be different.
PanamaPattie · 02/05/2021 22:33

2pm - unless you are in a detached house in the middle of a field.

Eyevorbig0ne · 02/05/2021 22:39

Any time is too late
