Obsessed w Lidl special weeks and need to know the pattern!

Lockdown lunacy but I NEED to know if anyone understands the pattern of Lidl special weeks - we've just had Spanish, Polish, Italian - does anyone know what's next, and when? Is there a pattern or is it just random? Any answers very very gratefully received.

Just check Lidl Plus app - it shows the upcoming weeks and offers to be had under 'leaflets'. Next week is still Italian.

Thursday, Sunday are the days to look for new items/aisle of shite and as above look at the app. We've had alpine day, greek day, italian day and just done iberian day. I don't know if there is a special pattern but italian day has been repeated twice since I've become obsessed - since lockdown really.

Excellent! Thanks all - we started a thing a few weeks ago where we've a feast whenever there's a week's special (along with music from wherever it is), and it's my turn to cook next so I'm hoping it's something exciting. Alpine week wasn't much fun and had to be supplemented w a fondue

If alpine week wasn't much fun you must have missed the berner rosti. So bloody delicious.

The Iberian week was great

Me too! I love them. DS1 has gone mad for the seafood pate from the Iberian week as it reminds him of Portuguese holidays. DS2 loves the Italian pastries.

Love the Middle Eastern week (1001 delights maybe?), alpine week and Eastern European week! They all have their highlights except American week which looks totally bleah.

I found my people!

Currently enjoying a crostata and coffee from Italian week, me and my son trying to pretend we're on holiday 😄

Loved Iberian week recently too.

I think they do the country special weeks 3-4 times a year and do maybe one a month. I've just checked my digital receipts on the Lidl app and Alps week was in Feb and Greek week was in March.

They are on some sort of cycle imo. DD was born the day a baby and toddler week started and I was hugely grumpy at going into labour because I wanted to stock up on sleepsuits . It was preceded by Greek week. Every year in September, lo and behold, we have Greek week and baby week. She usually gets a Greek filo pastry ring at her bday.

Is it only once a month? Maybe it's different here (Ireland) as the current run seems to be every week - straight from Greek to Spanish to Italian. One major Italian week's highlight was frozen clams in white wine... I'm not sure we get Middle Eastern week here. FFS! I love how each of them has different kinds of crisps too
