Three Indian boys illegally emigrated to the UK. They struggle to survive, slum landlords, inconsistent work, possibly on building sites, eat roti from the local Gurdwara. They don’t particularity get along having come from very different backgrounds. Ones family was better off and paid for his trafficking. Another sold a kidney and is quite unwell. The story follows their lives and they eventually do quite well and settle.
