I woke up with the urge to sing today so I got out of bed with:

'Another day like, all the others,
I make a cuppa,
I phone my mother,
What the fuck am I doing with my liiiiife?'

I'm living alone
I'm working from home
I want to retire
My finances are dire...

I've washed my clothes
I've put them out on the line
Now here comes the rain
Got to bring them in again
What a flipping pain.

I clean the floor
The dog goes out
Its covered in mud
What the fcks that all aboooooout?

And repeat, forever 🙄

In lying on the bed
Being a lazy cow 🐄
But it's getting rather late
So dragging myself up now 🎶

To the tune of "I dreamed a dream" from Les Miserables....

"I dreamed a dream in time gone by
Of king sized beds
and nights of peace.
I dreamed my "sleep hours" would be high
Dark circles banished from my face.

Then I was young and unafraid.
Late nights were had and I got wasted.
There was no price we had to pay.
Slept in next day
Much wine was tasted.

But the children come at night

With their elbows sharp as daggers
As they tear your sleep apart
And they turn your bed to theirs
(With all their bloody cuddly toys.....)

I slept an hour on the couch
The cushions soft, the blanket cosy.
But then the children came downstairs
Demanding food, tv and miiiiiilllllk.

And still I dream I'll sleep alone
9 hours of peace all by myself
But there are dreams that cannot beeee
And it's not good for mental health.

I had a dream my life would be
So rested and so full of fun.
So different now from what it seemed
No sleep has killed
The dream I dreamed"

I'm going to add

I'm watching netflix on the telly
How will LOST end? we'll wait and see
The cat is grumpy...and he is smelly
Oh wait, not showered today, I guess its me
