My son’s iPad recently froze, so I took it into the Apple store and they reset to factory settings. All good, it’s working again.
Went back into Apple ID and started downloading saved things (photos, music, notes, messages etc). All downloaded fine, apart from Pages documents.
Nothing seems to be there from August 2020 which was when he received the iPad. Checked in the iCloud storage, not a single document saved there over that period either.
So, where are they? How can not a single pages doc have saved in the cloud since he’s had the iPad? I’ve checked the options and it was set up to save (and indeed, I have tried saving another document and that DID save).
How can they not have saved, because surely if he went into documents on the iPad in the past, the documents wouldn’t have saved if they weren’t saving anywhere?
Is there any hope at all as my son is absolutely devastated at the loss of every single document he has created in the last 8 months.
