Does anyone else apologise to inanimate objects?!

Switched on the dishwasher then realised I'd forgotten to put a dish in - apologised to the DW for interrupting it. Henry the hoover falls down a step - I say sorry to him. Miss a gear in the car - feel guilty that the car is suffering for my mistake.

Please tell me I'm not the only one!

Portla · 30/04/2021 22:32

Absolutely! And on the other hand I say thank you to the cash point and sorry to any mannequins I've bumped into Grin

You're not the only one. Last weekend I picked up my Echo to dust it, accidentally pressed a button and said "Oh sorry!". I nearly dropped it when Alexa replied "No problem."

That's me with my laptop when it's playing up! Then I rant at it when it's working normally. (Sarcastically) "Ooooh look at you, working normally now, SO CLEVER!".

I have slapped the door frame and swore at it when I’ve stubbed my toe.. does that follow the same lines 🤣
