Going insane trying to find a wedding dress for my civil ceremony

Can anyone help?

I am desperately trying to find a wedding dress for my June wedding that will fit my FF cup boobs. I am a size 12, and all wedding dresses seem to be made for people with smaller busts. I have a short torso and not much of a waist, also I will be 11 weeks pregnant with my second baby so will probably have a small bump.

I have a budget of 300, its an intimate 'micro wedding' ceremony and then just off to lunch at a posh hotel.

I hate everything I have tried on from ASOS and am losing my marbles! I am also freaking out as if I need to get alterations I probably don't have enough time?? (6 weeks).

HELP!

IME Asos is made for 6 ft people who don’t need a bra.

What kind of style do you like? Full length or knee/midi? Sleeves or not? Plain or lacy or embellished...?

minipie · 30/04/2021 21:06

PS 6 weeks should be fine to get alterations done if you can find someone good locally - ask your local online forum for recommendations?

www.monsoon.co.uk/beth-beaded-floral-plunge-bridal-dress-ivory-14998346.html this Monsoon option could work well with generous bust and a small bump?

Thanks @minipie

full length, and I have an ombre blue veil, I would prefer sleeveless if poss! I like the boho look, something a bit different, and not a 'typical' wedding dress if that makes sense

Have you got a Debenhams near you?

I was in one today and all their evening dresses, bridesmaid dresses and gowns were down to £15 in the closing down sale and they have absolutely loads

minipie · 30/04/2021 21:11

Ah ok cross posted! Will keep looking

Apileofballyhoo · 30/04/2021 21:14

That second monsoon dress is beautiful.

Have you had a look at Ghost? This was a quick look on the sale section.

Bias cut can accommodate boobs/bump and make you look curvy. A good seamstress can alter, especially if you buy a bigger size.

www.needleandthread.com/products/neve-embellished-bodice-maxi-dress-champagne might need a few stitches to make it less plunging!

ThatWouldBeEnough · 30/04/2021 21:23

What about this one? It says sold out in 12 but for that price it might be worth getting a 14 for your boobs and seeing if someone could take the waist in (no idea if that’s even possible?!)

Phase 8 are good for boobs and have a wedding collection but may be a bit over budget.

This is simple but not full length.

Maybe something here?: kitristudio.com/collections/the-bridal-collection

I think Monsoon and Coast will likely be your best bets.

Over budget but you’d get 10% off if it’s your first order.

Lots to choose from on Tiffany Rose. Technically maternity wedding dress but because they’re so flowy I don’t think only having a small bump by that stage will matter. They should have plenty of room for boobs! All are within your budget I think.

Sorry - that net a Porter link doesn’t work but if you search Vanessa Cocchiaro ‘The Lady’ you should find it.

BoxOfFrogss · 30/04/2021 22:46

Wow @avidavocado - how perfect are they - also I live in Brighton

Thanks a lot everyone, going through them all now.

This monsoon one is my favourite, but I don't know how much give it has in it/space for bump

As a fellow massive boobed lady I would urge you to look at halterneck styles as they’re far more flattering than the cross style you were looking at. And supportive too.

Isadora2007 · 30/04/2021 23:11

Under £100
And stretchy!!
