If I post something special delivery tomorrow...

Will it get there Tuesday? Or does Saturday not count?

Saturday counts as a day Sunday no. So post Saturday for one day delivery/special delivery would get there Monday.

Also wondering this.
I have some DWP paperwork to send.
Want it to get there Weds at latest.
Was wondering about sending tomorrow / Mon / Tues ?

As long as you go to the post office before it is cleared (which might be earlier than closing time particularly on a Saturday) a special delivery should get to it’s destination on Monday. (I am a postie.)

It's a BH so if you post Sat am (most post offices close at 12ish on a Sat), delivery would be Tuesday. Another Postie here!

Oops yes it is a bank holiday

I've just posted a SD letter and she said it's guaranteed for Tuesday because of the bank holiday but it could get there for tomorrow but no guarantee as it's a Saturday and I didn't pay for Saturday SD.

BTW if you do it before midnight and the system is working, you can book a collection from your postie. No need to go to the post office. And at the moment it is free!

oops....you have to buy the postage label first but you can do that online as well.
