For a late 40s woman. No known hobbies or specific interests. A nice treat rather than something practical, c.£50. Thanks!

No interests? Hmm

Or do you mean you don't know them well enough to have discovered their interests?

BarbaraofSeville · 30/04/2021 15:46

You need to be more specific. Not all late 40s women like the same things.

I'm one and have no interest in many 'suitable gifts for the late 40s woman' like candles, scarves, fancy toiletries for example.

I'd be most happy with something like a box of posh chocs, a bottle of good but slightly unusual fizz like English sparkling wine and absolutely no extra little bits to make it look more like a gift.

But that would be totally inappropriate for a tee total health nut.

I prefer experiences to objects.

So like a voucher for a 3 course meal, tickets for a show, beauty treatments etc

I started a v similar post recently OP but my budget is around £30

Shes not into candles or scarves and had no hobbies I know about

I'm thinking of getting her some hotel chocolat chocolates and sweets

I previously got her make up, nail polish, make up brushes, satin pillowcases... so I am not so sure this time what to buy that I haven't got her before.

I also thought about cake or cupcakes

She doesn't drink

MayIDestroyYou · 30/04/2021 18:07

I like cake.

If someone presented me with £50 of cupcakes as my birthday present ...Angry

Well if they ever do I hope you'll be grateful but I'm not sure who suggested £50 of cupcakes. I didn't. I just said it was something I thought about within my budget of £30 and then cupcakes I was thinking of are over £20.
ElderMillennial · 30/04/2021 19:47

£20 for 6 that is. Plus delivery:

Love the restaurant idea, thank you!

Excuse the self-promotion but does she have a favourite city / place, or does she particularly loves where she lives?

I make paper cut maps by hand and most of the commissions I get are for gifts - I can do any area / size and can work to a budget :) These little ones are under your budget but there are various options.

Feel free to send me a message if you’re interested or just ignore me :)
