I'm having a wardrobe cull. Any tips?

I'm going to loose a massive three door wardrobe in my bedroom in a bid to make it less claustrophobic.
I don't want to part with my clothes but have to.
I think the fact that I have lived in leggings for over year means everything looks fresh and interesting which isn't helping.
But long term I think I'll value the extra space more than the clothes.
Has anyone Spring cleaned their clothes lately? What will I regret giving away?

I love having a wardrobe cull. Put some music or a film on in the background, try everything on. Get rid of anything that you don't wear or can't see yourself wearing. Maybe do it in stages if you have a lot of stuff.

I'm probably going to have a sort through and pack away all my winter clothes soonish, waiting for the weather to get a bit warmer. Everything goes in vacuum bags and stored in a big chest thing.

Do I like this? Not really. Get rid
Is this really scruffy. Yes. Get rid
Do I wear this. No. Get rid.
Do I need 20 coats. No. Get rid of say five.

I do a mostly 6 month rule.

Have I worn in the last six months? If no, is it a 'special occasion' something, gym clothes party dress, work clothes Christmas jumper etc.

Does it fit? Is it scruffy? Is it suitable as scruff clothing? Do I like this?

I mean if anything I'm a little ruthless. But then I hate clothes shopping and I dislike the majority of my clothes. So most of mine stay with the 'if I get rid of this, I'd actually have to face how limited my wardrobe range is', so I keep the pencil skirts and certain that are always vetoed out....
