What to do?

Ds has been very grumpy and has said he's bored. Crying. Quite unlike him. Anyway it escalated to becoming quite naughty. Not listening.
He got told off and told to go to his room. I told him he cannot bring is Match of the Day cards to school tomorrow. Resulting in screaming. I feel I need to follow through. This is a pattern most Thurs or Friday mornings. But now I am afraid he is going to be a nightmare tomorrow and I have work and he goes to childcare.

He's usually very sensitive and sweet.

How old is he?
Was he meant to be bringing his MOTD cards to school tomorrow? (DD’s primary school don’t want them to bring anything from home at the moment).

Hard one!
You need to follow through so he knows you mean it and there’s consequences as such when he’s naughty.

Agree, you need to follow through, this time, next time, the time after. He’ll make the connection eventually.

I think it's due to exhaustion after going back to school after so long. Also he doesn't get the tablet etc on school days so hence why he's bored (though he had plenty to play with).

He was told no tablet either if it continues (he's allowed at the weekends and all week if school holiday) so losing both is too harsh.
