Thigh tattoos? Ouchy?

I've just booked a tattoo on the front of my thigh.

Tell me how much it's going to hurt. I have calf and forearm tattoos. Worse? Less bad?

I found my thigh more painful than my calf or forearm, but a friend of mine didnt find hers painful at all

I have a large tattoo on the front of my thigh and one on my inner forearm. I found the thigh one slightly more painful, I suppose because there's more fat/muscle there?

Hmm, hoped I'll be ok. I thought arm was fine, just a bit uncomfortable.

Thigh is a 4hr job. I'm sure I can stick it out for that long.

I have several, including a large one on my thigh (front and side) it was my least painful one. Took about 5 hours to do.

I went with a friend for her side thigh one and she could hardly feel most of it. She was very pleasantly surprised as she was worried too. I don't know how it would compare to the front of the thigh though.

Front of thigh.

I had a full day session on the front of my thigh and it really didn't hurt until the last hour! I preferred it to arms!

I’ve got quite a lot of tattoos and the thigh is no bother at all.
My worse was the skin above your inner elbow crease. God damn that was eye watering

Weirdly I know a few people who thought calves and arms were excruciating so maybe it won't be too bad at all, I barely felt my calf.

Anyone else on a Friday night?

I've got both my outer thighs done, 5hrs for each. Struggled a bit the last hour
My lower back was definitely worse, that was 6hrs, I spent the last hour practically biting my hand and then had my wrist tattoo touched up

I had my first tattoo on my ribs a few months ago and it didn't hurt at all. I'd been really worried about it. The tattooist laughed before she started and said women, particularly women who have had children, worry about it and are pleasantly surprised. Men waltz in full of bravado and then cry in pain. I braced myself, ready for agony. And nothing. Slight scratchy feeling. I reckon you'll be fine.

I have several tattoos including a thigh one. Thigh and stomach least painful. Most painful was foot.

That doesnt tie up with my experience. I think it must just be different for different people

I have one on each of my thighs, they took around 6 hours each. I fell asleep when they were being done! The only bit that was actually painful was on the inside right at the very top, and it was just a bit pinchy, but that bit of the tattoo is very high and close to my groin.

I e got the backs of my thighs done-it was horrific and most deffo my most painful work
