And the photos doing the rounds aren't of No. 11.

@midsomermurderess

I actually quite like Lulu Lytle's stuff. It makes a change from the ubiquitous grey, mid-century look; it's bold and playful. I suppose the setting is all. Probably a bit too idiosyncratic from temporary accommodation.
It'd be ok if it was either the sofa and curtains or the walls and not the lampshades as the pattern doesn't lend itself to fluting.

But all of it? Just no.

midsomermurderess · 29/04/2021 14:59

Yes, together. I think that's the point. Otherwise, it would be old-fashioned chintzy.

ErrolTheDragon · 29/04/2021 15:23

It is 'old fashioned chintzy', but done to excess.

ErrolTheDragon · 29/04/2021 15:24

Kind of disappointing the carpet isn't the same pattern too.Grin

ShrikeAttack · 29/04/2021 15:25

I've got that lampshade!

SoupDragon · 29/04/2021 15:28

There is a chameleon on the furthest cushion. It has a headache.

midsomermurderess · 29/04/2021 15:34

I don't think it is.

Tambora · 29/04/2021 15:42

My eyes.

1forAll74 · 29/04/2021 16:11

All you would need, is a matching jumpsuit in the same fabric as the sofa, and then sit on the sofa,and nobody would notice that you were there.

DogsSausages · 29/04/2021 16:22

Where is it supposed to be

AutumnalLeaves38 · 29/04/2021 23:43

@ErrolTheDragon

Yes, someone's lost sense of taste lurking on the sofa.
