Hey, does anyone suffer with dry eyes? Do you find that omega oil supplements help or not?

Yes, they can help.

Other things include: hot compresses, a decent quality lubricant drop and ointment overnight and a demodex lid scrub. Demodex mites can cause blepharitis which, in turn, can cause dry eyes. Demodex mites occur naturally on the eyes, but can over populate and cause problems. Tea tree lid gels are very effective at reducing their numbers.

Thank you for the amazing advice. I’m currently using hyco-san eyedrops

Hycosan is a good one.

Yes, I definitely find that Omega 3 helps. The effect takes a while to kick it but it's worth it. I have ocular rosacea and have got a lot of relief from it with Omega 3. In terms of eye drops, I'd recommend VisuXL if you can get them. They're a bit pricey but definitely help restore the tear film.

Oh wow! That’s interesting. I always thought omega supplements were gimmicky, but then again, I probably am lacking in them as I don’t eat fish so worth a try! Hopefully I’ll see results like you did.

I bought a tea tree lid wash today - going to add it to my skincare routine going forward.

I have also heard great things about hot eye compresses but just find them a bit of a faff? I start itching to take it off after a few minutes! And my one gets cold very quickly, it doesn’t stay warm for the full 10-15 minutes.
