Hi there wise mumsnetters please share with me how to quote a poster in my composed message. I can see a quote button on some posts and not on others ....how does this work?

Press the three dots. If the post already quotes a post, you can't quote it and the quote option is greyed out.

If somebody has already quoted then you can't then quote the message that already has a quoted message in it

Quote it first before you write your message.

I can quote mine but can't quote the one SummerHouse did as she has already quoted your message
