I hate my job.... I work in the civil service. In theory, it should be great but I can't get away from the fact that it's all just bullshit. Meetings about meetings, objective setting but not doing, knowing work will ultimately never go anywhere because there aren't resources or inclination. This was my first big step on the career path but it's been less than a year and I'm massively disillusioned.
I'm not great at corporate, desk-based life. I'd rather something practical, maybe outside, maybe manual... I like writing, I'm not great with managing difficult people. I don't want huge sums of money and I have the freedom to retrain (though not a degree) but I'm lacking imagination about what's out there.
So... I need some inspiration. Any ideas what my next job could be??
