Urgent - accidentally took double dosage

I’m on 150mg of Sertraline, took my dose this morning as usual.
Just went to take some paracetamol, was in my own little world and took another 150mg of Sertraline.

What do I do?! I presume it’ll be ok? I’m alone overnight.

A one off 300mg dose will not be at all likely to cause harm.

Ok, thanks. Starting to worry even though a rational part of me is thinking it’ll be fine. It must be around 12 hours since I took them this morning. I just won’t take any tomorrow morning.

www.nhs.uk/medicines/sertraline/ Max dose in 24 hours is 200mg as others have said. Have a read of the symptoms to be watchful of and phone 111 for advice if you start to feel unwell.

I'm sure it will be fine but I'd phone 111 for advice. It's 50% more than the maximum recommended dose so would be prudent to seek medical advice.

Have done some reading and whilst the FDA approves up to 200mg, it is often given off label up to 300mg for BDD and OCD. Which presumably means it’s safe.
My first lot was over 12 hours ago now, so it’s not as though I had 300mg in one go.
Trying to reassure myself so I actually manage to sleep tonight!
