What is your secret? Please tell me how to get a potato crop - for some reason they are never successful for me. My starting point is 1 bag of seed potatoes. Thank you.

Potatoes are literally the only thing I can grow (except weeds!). I use the potato bags which have a flap at the bottom to harvest them when you're ready. I just try to remember to water them! Mine are already growing and look quite happy.

Like a pp, potatoes are essentially the only crop I can harvest.

In my gardens they have always grown freely in deep, loamy, sunny set soils. Add coffee granules and or tea leaves/ tea bags to the soil from time to time, also bones.

I usually take a potato that has started to grow in the store cupboard and set it in the soil. Have smashing result all year round. Try a jacket potato for starters .

Coffee granules and tea remains...absolutely can do!
