I had my 28 week appointment yesterday and midwife measured me at 33cm ! Ive had a had a gtt test and was normal. This is my 3rd pregnancy, my other babies were born at 7lb 6oz and 7lb 7oz . Should I be worried I’m growing a monster baby!!?

Are you being sent for an extra scan? I think fundal height can be quite out by a few centimetres according to the baby’s position. I measured small and had a big baby.

I am having a growth scan due to having thyroid problems, the midwife didn’t seem that worried. Just used to my babies being of the 50 percentile range so was bit of a shock!

Mine was massive, about 43 or 45cm at 39 weeks. Thank goodness he came a couple of days early. I'm short and I looked like I had a swiss ball inside my clothes. He was 8lb 10, long and lean with a mass of fluid.

I had a coupls of growth scans to check was well. At my 38 week check up, my MW plotted the measurement somewhere near the title of the notes and sighed "I suppose it's normal for you". I'd had the previous scan a couple of days earlier so it wasn't really worth having a 3rd.

The downsides were growing out of most of my maternity clothes months before the birth, having to stop driving because I couldn't fit behind the steering wheel and reach the pedals, and in the final week beinv unable to sit on the sofa unless there was someone to pull me off. Oh and standing sideways at thd sink to reach the taps.
