Is there a way to make your own logo for free? I really can't afford to pay a designer. This is for something I'll end up doing no more than once a day, alongside my day job.

Also, if the name of the business contains the name of something in nature which bears no relation to the business, is it okay that the logo doesn't have an image of this item? Or any image for that matter? Just writing?

Once a week I meant to say. Why do I always notice mistakes after I've posted!?

I made my own logo for our business out of letters no image and it’s been no problem. You can get a logo done very cheaply but well on Fiverr though, worth a look.

If you type "free logo generator" into Google I think there are a few websites that will do it, just watch for copyrighted images etc.
