Tesco always has lots of slots where I am

Honestly, I went in to get one for the 17th, there were slots for the forthcoming bank holiday weekend, and the week after that, I thought I was in a parallel universe.

Lots for me too and has been for months.

The only thing I can think of is that the Covid rate of infection on Zoe around here was only 10 the other day. I accept as someone who lost my favourite cousin (55) to Covid that ten is still too many, but maybe people are starting to venture out.

I assumed Tesco employed more staff to take in more profit as they were the only reliable ones with slots all the way through for me.

I've been extremely lucky with Morrisons and throughout the entire pandemic, we've only had to go to the supermarket once.

Other than that week, I've been able to get a delivery every single Saturday. Possibly because I'm a delivery pass holder?

I had been a life long Sainsburys shopper 30 years plus and I ditched them when lockdown started.

The government told me to shield, Tesco pinged me and said hey we have you on our radar.

I had to ring JS to figure out why I wasn't on theirs, we are still processing information, keep checking back.

I spent a lot of money in JS and now it is in the main going to Tesco.

Yes Sainsbury’s have been totally useless, and not just in the CEV issue. I’ve gone right off them.

@WorraLiberty I signed up for a delivery saver when we were coming out of lockdown 1, but found slots with Tesco beforehand. I have reasons why I would rather not be in a crowded shop and happy that Tesco helped.

I would have selected any supermarket that helped TBH.

All the big supermarkets were stretched a year ago. It's a very different picture now. I am on the shielding list. Once that was sorted out with the shops I could get a delivery every 8 to 10 days but since June last year It's been once a week.
