Flattering fat clothes

Have a lot of weight to lose after having my last baby (and let's face it just generally being a greedy cow and eating too much cheese). I've never been this big and for this long though and I have no idea how to dress. I got by in the winter with big slouchy knitwear and elasticised waists - and a winter coat covering everything of course; but now I'm seeing more people and in different settings and I don't have the security blanket of all the layers and coat. I don't want to spend a fortune because I am losing weight but I also want to feel like I've got a few key items to comfortably see me through the season. How can I dress in a flattering way for the warmer weather?

Wide legged jersey trews with elastic...M and S got good ones.

Shirt dress with leggings...

Bootcut jeans....blazer...

Jumpsuits can be very forgiving depends how big you are...

Wrap front dresses either short or midi...

Teva sandals or similar so you can get walking to lose the pounds..

I’m in the same boat, currently a 14/16 when normally I’m a small 12.

I’ve bought 3 pairs of shorts in a 16 that I can wear with a belt when I hopefully lose the weight. I’m also planning on wearing vests with a shirt over the top.

Tiered midi dresses and a pair of jeggings with some oversized tops? Luckily oversized tops are in fashion at the moment!

I'd buy a couple of dresses like this: www.poetryfashion.co.uk/product-UD96-POEDS/dresses-skirts/relaxed-linen-shirtdress.htm and shirts and trousers like these shop.mango.com/gb/women/trousers-straight/cropped-modal-trousers_87074377.html

If you want to get some cheaper things to tide you over while you are losing weight, Matalan have a lot of flattering a-line dresses in their sale. I recently bought this one www.airycloth.com/Casual-Floral-Round-Neckline-Midi-A-Line-Dress-m4864772 and its really nice and covers a multitude.
They've got a lot of loose fitting trousers (and cropped) and sort of baggy jumpsuit/dungaree affairs.
