What are the current restrictions on going on holiday (in the uk) and sharing with a different household?

I’m due to go to a friends caravan with my parents and DS in June (1st week). I’ve just had an email with details of safety things, how to check in etc and it says that only one household per caravan and we will be questioned at the gate to confirm this. We don’t live together and neither are we a bubble (they provide childcare though but that’s it, I don’t go sit in their house for example) but I was under the impression that by 1st June we’d be able to go away together.

I’ve had a look online and can see nothing to confirm this, does anyone know if this is due to change or not? Thanks

Oh also I’m in a bubble with my boyfriend which is why I haven’t formed one with my parents

Only with your household or support bubble.

Yes that's correct. Only single households can rent holiday accommodation. No idea if that will still be the case in June.

I thought 17th May on the road map allows indoor mixing with another household. I’m in Scotland though so when Boris decrees one thing, Nicola makes up her own rules.

Ok thank you! Aghhh I’m panicking now. Is there another announcement due on the 17th may? Hopefully that’ll be good news!

So, you can meet indoors after the 17th but not in holiday accommodation?

Should be fine in June, it's allowed under step 3 isn't it and that should kick in 17 May.

I think from 17th may, if things are as planned, you are also allowed to stay overnight in another house so I assume staying in a caravan would be the same thing. I would make sure with individual locations what their rules are though.

Brilliant thank you!

Not before 17th May, you can stay as 2 households/6 people indoors.

DH have a B&B re-booked from last year for 21-23 May.
