Do you have a regular weekly online grocery delivery?

I'm trying to streamline my life and I want to book a weekly slot for groceries to save the hurried scramble for a slot. The Ocado system for booking this is really bloody complicated, and I gave up. Plus they told me it would take over a month to kick in.

Are there any other supermarkets which offer this? To be clear I'm looking for same time each week locked in, and I can tweak what's in my basket up until the day before.

Thanks

I get my Morrisons delivery every Saturday.

It's not auto set up but I can book slots for at least 3 weeks in advance. I'm currently booked up til May 22nd.

Same as previous poster but I'm with Tesco - mine are set up for the next four weeks in my preferred day/time slot. I adjust the basket on the evening before delivery and, whilst on, pre-book the next one four weeks away.

Asda delivery pass books your regular slot but you have to place an order at least 3 days prior to delivery day to secure the slot. Once placed, you can edit the order up until 10pm the night before. We're finding, however, that there is much less choice online than if we were in store. The substitutions can be a bit silly too.

Asda do, but if you're an ocado shopper you might not like Asda!

Same as 1st poster with Morrisons. I think you can set up a recurring delivery with Asda.

I have automatic ocado delivery nothing complicated about it. However when they were waitrose they were excellent but since they changed to m&s they have gone downhill with lack of choice, short use by dates a nothing in stock. Ivevstarted using oddbox for my fruit and veg

I just log on to Ocado every week, reserve a slot with some champagne then replace it with shopping beforehand

Onedropbeat · 25/04/2021 20:49

Yes a food shop every Friday
Gousto every Sunday
Milk and more very Monday, Tuesday and Friday
Most Saturdays we get a bakery delivery for pastries too (as a treat)

autumnboys · 25/04/2021 20:54

@Shoxfordian - I used to do this until I forgot to update the basket and ended up driving through click & collect to pick up one bottle of champagne. Blush

I have a Tesco pass which lets you book four weeks of slots at once. Apart from in the depths of lockdown, it’s never been a problem. I pick up every Friday afternoon and can alter it until about 11pm the night before. It’s not quite as good as a confirmed slot every week, but otoh, the shop is between work and home so I am saved a detour to anywhere else.

Ocado here. For the first month I just manually set up an order for each week at that same time. Ocado allows you to set up orders several weeks ahead. Nothing complicated about Ocado at all. Edit until 10pm the night before.
