Laptops

Looks like I'm going to have to get a new laptop since the old one decides when/if it wants to work and since it's about 100 years old I have no idea on what to get now. So anyone have any good ( cheap) ideas on what I should buy? Mostly need it for storage. would have liked a cd/dvd drive but I think I'm living in the Stone age for that one. I can probably spend no more than £200 on it. Thanks 😊

If your budget is £200 then it doesn't much matter what you get, that is very much the bottom end.

I might be tempted to look at a reconditioned one for that budget as you will get a bit more.

Buy a Chromebook and the best external hard drive you can afford.

Yh Chrome book is the best idea actually.

Do not get anything that has less than 4gb. I bought the kids £200 little hp ones for home schooling and Teams was painfully slow on the 2gb processor. I agree with the pp who said look at reconditioned from somewhere like CEX.
