Bunny died this morning 😢

Feel so lost. He was only 3 & just went downhill so quickly. We’ve buried him in the garden & will put up a memorial plaque which will also have the name of his old mate who died last year. I keep expecting him to race in through the French windows & try to climb into the fridge. He was such a character, bless him 🐇❤️

I’m so sorry, op. He sounds like he was a wonderful bunny💐

Sorry for your loss OP. I never realised how loving bunnies were until getting mine.

I'm so sorry. He sounds adorable. Was he mostly a house rabbit? Do you know what was wrong with him?

😢 🐰

I'm so sorry. All bunnies are gorgeous, but sometimes one is extra brilliant. Sad news 😢

One of ours died last year... Now have a lonely bunny...

OP I'm sorry Flowers

We lost one of our two bucks last year and the other one seemed very down so I very quickly got two more rabbits and it was such a joy for us and our surviving buck.

You can never replace a loved pet but when you feel ready, you might find adopting a new rabbit helps you heal.

So sorry for your loss.

Thanks everyone. It was gut stasis & he ended up not being able to eat. Heartbreaking to see him with no energy as he was such a livewire. We are already looking for a buck to keep his doe company & are hoping to adopt from the RSPCA. There’s a 3 year old buck at our local branch who’s the spitting image of our other buck. We adopted a beautiful doe 2 years ago & she only cost £15. Fingers crossed it all works out.
