What is this item from IKEA? A tray? A trivet?

I’m selling a few bits for a friend who needs some extra money. She’s unearthed this from her garage. No idea what it is! It’s heavy, cast iron, I think. Very pretty. I would have said it’s a trivet but usually they are open. The lip is very shallow so not a great design for a tray. A table top? (that idea just came to me 😀). Any ideas?

Plant pot stand?

It's to put a hot pan on, isn't it? That's what I would use it for anyway

It’s a plant stand so you can put a terracotta plant saucer there and it won’t stain your window ledge I think.

I'd use it as a bird bath.

I'd guess it is a plant stand or candle plate.

What is the diameter?
