Psychics

What's your experience with or thoughts about them? I don't necessarily mean those who say they can speak to the dead, I mean those that tell you what's going on around you, that sort of thing.

I went to see one once, telling me that she knew I had cats (perhaps I had cat fur on my jumper!), she correctly guessed my job, but told me that I was exhausted from looking after my widowed father (he was dead and I had never looked after him), that I was going to meet a Frenchman who was going to whisk me away, I would have two houses and lots of leisure time, and a new car and an expensive display cabinet (??)

I was 24 then. I'm nearly 38 and still waiting for it all, and this psychic is advertised as doing events and tours etc.

There's also the phone in on the telly, Psychic TV or whatever it's called.

Anyone tried them? What do you think?

I do think there is more in heaven and earth than we can see, and believe the supernatural exists, but I'd like to hear your thoughts and experiences.

I worked as a 'psychic' on phonelines once.

Its amazingly easy to read people, and also people tend to remember the correct things and not the stuff they get wrong.

Its honestly a waste of money.

Unicorns are the best psychics, get to meet one of them & they'll blow your mind away with what they can "see".

‘Frenchman who was going to whisk me away, I would have two houses and lots of leisure time, and a new car and an expensive display cabinet‘

That could also translate as you meet meeting a bloke who wears Breton sweaters and eats a lot of cheese, the two houses are yours and his because he won’t commit and live with you, lots of leisure time because you lose your job and you’re expensive display cabinet is a lovely one you bought in a secondhand shop but because you lost your job you can only fill it with your thimble collection which is a sad reflection on your relationship status of being with a cheese smelling non committing man.

I wouldn’t be worrying too much about that.

^ excuse mistakes!

Your not you’re.

CarmelBeach · 25/04/2021 13:14

"the two houses are yours and his because he won’t commit and live with you,"

If she said OP would have two houses, I'd take that as OP owning two houses. These psychics must do detail 😂

That is really interesting. How do you 'read' someone on the phone, though?
